Rockefeller & Co.’s Integrated Wealth Services Business Appoints Michael J. Collins Chief Marketing Officer;
Daniel H. Berg Chief Technology Officer
Industry Veterans to Accelerate Growth and
Enhancement of Business
New York, NY – November 13, 2007
Rockefeller & Co., Inc. - a leading global wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and endowments - announced today that its Integrated Wealth Services (IWS) business has appointed Michael J. Collins as Chief Marketing Officer and Daniel H. Berg as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer roles are newly created positions based out of New York City that report directly to Roy King, President and Chief Executive Officer of IWS, and a Managing Director of Rockefeller & Co.
Rockefeller & Co.’s IWS business provides cost-effective back and middle office services to both Rockefeller & Co. clients, as well as on an outsourced basis to single-family and multi-family offices, high wealth individuals and financial institutions. At the core of IWS services is a proven technology-enabled service platform that provides IWS clients with reconciled, flexible and actionable data aggregation and reporting across their financial portfolios. As of September 30, IWS administered approximately $30 billion in assets.

In his new role as Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Collins, 43, will be the senior leader of the IWS marketing team. As part of this role, he will manage the creation and execution of the IWS marketing strategy in support of the company’s objectives of delivering accelerated revenue growth and client base expansion through innovative branding, product marketing and management, marketing communications and public relations, lead generation, and alliance partner programs.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Collins served as Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at Gevity HR, Inc., a business process outsourcer of human resources services for small and mid-size businesses. Previously, he also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Mercator Software, a publicly-traded enterprise integration company, now part of IBM. Mr. Collins holds a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from Rowan University.
In his new role as Chief Technology Officer, Daniel Berg, 42, will develop and modify the IWS technology roadmap based on market and client-driven requirements and will also focus on product architecture, evolution, and integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure.
Prior to joining IWS, Mr. Berg was Senior Vice President, Product Development at Foundation Source Philanthropic Services, Inc., where he led a team that brought innovative philanthropic and financial technology and services to the ultra high net worth community. He has also led R&D and product development efforts at both public and privately-held commercial technology companies, including Eastman Software - a division of Eastman Kodak, Wang Software, Comfidex Corp. and others. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester.

Appoints Darcy H. Stern Director of Research, Global Equities
New York, NY – June 11, 2007
Rockefeller & Co., Inc. – a leading global wealth management firm
serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and
endowments – announced today that it has appointed Darcy H. Stern as Director
of Research, Global Equities.
In her new role, Ms. Stern will play an integral role in the development
and execution of the firm’s global equity management. Among her responsibilities,
she will oversee five to six sector-specific research analysts, participate
in global fundamental research, and integrate her efforts with the fixed-income
and alternative investments teams as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment
to optimize overall value creation for its clients. She will report directly
to David Harris, Chief Investment Officer of Rockefeller & Co., and
will be located in the New York headquarters office.
Prior to joining Rockefeller & Co., Darcy Stern served as a Senior Analyst and then as Head Analyst for Nomura Asset Management where she covered US and European consumer sectors. Darcy has also held analyst positions with Lord Abbett & Company and The Chicago Corporation. Her research coverage has spanned furniture retailers and manufacturers, food companies, as well as the household products, personal care, appliance and automotive industries.

Rockefeller & Co., Inc. – a leading global wealth management firm
serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and
endowments – announced today that it has appointed Roy King President
and CEO of its Integrated Wealth Services (IWS) business, effective immediately.
As part of this appointment, Mr. King has also been named a Managing Director
of Rockefeller & Co.
Rockefeller’s IWS business provides outsourced back and middle office
services to single-family offices, multi-family offices and other high
wealth business enterprises. As of March 31, 2007, IWS administered approximately
$30 billion in assets.
In his new role, Mr. King, who brings over 30 years of experience leading
large global services and technology organizations across diverse business
sectors, will both lead and collaborate with executives across all areas
of IWS and oversee its industry-leading technology service platform, RockIT™.
He will report directly to Jim McDonald, President and CEO of Rockefeller
& Co and will be located in the New York headquarters office.
Prior to joining Rockefeller & Co. and IWS, Roy King served as President
and Chief Operating Officer for Gevity HR. Among his previous responsibilities,
Mr. King has also served as Chief Executive Officer for several information
technology, software and professional service organizations, including
Mercator Software. Prior to his leadership roles in the technology sector,
Roy served as General Manager for IBM Global Services in North American
and EMEA and was a partner in technology and operations consulting for
Booz Allen and Hamilton and KPMG Peat Marwick.
