James Rothschild

James Rothschild is a Founder and Managing Partner of Tru Arrow Partners. Tru Arrow is a global growth technology firm built around family capital. Born and raised in London, James has been an investor for 15 years with his family as well as independent institutions. James began with training at Hargreave-Hale and Rothschild and Co in London before moving into real estate investment at Europe’s largest privately-held real estate developer, TriGranit, where he worked from the Budapest headquarters for three years. James moved to New York City in 2012 as a Partner with Lepe Partners, the TMT specialist investment and advisory firm. In this role, James was part of the growth stage technology investment practice responsible for sourcing, executing and managing a global portfolio of growth tech assets.

Subsequently, James co-founded West Arrow. West Arrow is an investment and advisory firm based in New York that has invested strategic family capital as well as leveraged global relationships to assist in the growth of global growth technology companies.

James is a Trustee of Yad Hanadiv (the Rothschild Foundation) where he also serves on the Finance and Audit Committee. Yad Hanadiv continues the tradition of Rothschild family philanthropy in Israel, where it was responsible for the Supreme Court and Knesset buildings in Jerusalem.

James serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of Windmill Hill Asset Management, the management company of certain Rothschild Family philanthropic endowments. James also serves on the Next Gen Advisory Council of Rockefeller Capital Management and the Strategic Advisory Board of IP Group (US), the early-stage science investment platform that partners with university laboratories to commercialize scientific IP. James is honored to be a part of the 2020/21 Nominating Committee for the Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award.

James is authorized and regulated in the US by FINRA under Series 63, SIE and Series 79.
