- Two Distinguished Private Wealth Teams Join Rockefeller Global Family Office
Rockefeller Capital Management (“Rockefeller” or the “Firm”) today announced that two private wealth advisory teams focused on ultra-high-net-worth clients have joined the Firm in Atlanta. The Higgins Hall Group and The Embleton Curtis Quackenbush Group both join Rockefeller Global Family Office from Merrill Lynch.

The Higgins Hall Group and The Embleton Curtis Quackenbush Group are the latest additions to Rockefeller’s growing Atlanta office. The Higgins Hall Group, founded and led by David P. Higgins and Michael P. Hall, is team of seven professionals who join from Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking & Investment Group. The Embleton Curtis Quackenbush Group, a team of eight, join from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. This group is led by John F. Embleton, William C. Curtis, P. Schuyler Quackenbush Jr. and Evan B. Georgiou.

David P. Higgins
Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Higgins was a Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he spent 26 years. Higgins was recognized as a Top 40 Advisor under 40 by On Wall Street Magazine, a Top 100 Financial Advisor in 2008 by Barron’s, and a Top 1000 and Top 1200 Financial Advisor State by State by Barron’s for the last 10 years. He is a graduate of Providence College.
Michael P. Hall
Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Hall was a Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he spent 23 years and was selected to join the leadership team in the Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group in 2004. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
John F. Embleton, CIMA®
Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Embleton was a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he joined in 2008. Embleton started his career in wealth management at Morgan Stanley in 1990 and is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
William C. Curtis, C(k)P®, CPFA
Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Curtis was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he joined in 2008. He started his career in wealth management at Morgan Stanley in 2001. Curtis was named in Forbes’ “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2018 and in The Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors list in 2015 and 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
P. Schuyler Quackenbush Jr., CRPC®
Senior Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Quackenbush was a Senior Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he joined in 2008. Previously, he was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
Evan B. Georgiou, CFP®, CIMA®, CPWA®
Senior Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor
Prior to joining Rockefeller, Georgiou was a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and Retirement Benefits Consultant at Merrill Lynch, where he joined in 2011. He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
