Coley P. Cassidy, CFA

Coley P. Cassidy joined Rockefeller Capital Management in 2022.  Coley specializes in helping his client families to achieve multi-generational success and “wellbeing”. He works to understand his clients’ financial and non-financial lives, and to create and execute wealth plans that help clients achieve their holistic family goals.

Prior to moving to Rockefeller, Coley opened and managed the Aspen offices for independent multi-family office Tiedemann Advisors (2018), and Wells Fargo Private Bank (2008).  Before moving back to Aspen in 2008, Coley worked for fifteen years in New York City where he held positions in institutional investments, relationship management, and sales management for Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Brown Brothers Harriman.  While in New York, he covered sophisticated institutional investment managers in the New York and Connecticut markets.

Before moving to New York, Coley played professional ice hockey for Hasle-Loren, IL in the Norwegian Elite League.  Coley graduated from Connecticut College in 1992 with a major in Government (with honors) and minor in Japanese Language and Literature.  Coley earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001.

Coley and his wife Annie are Aspen natives and have four daughters. Coley is a member of the Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation Board, is a member of the Aspen Institute’s Society of Fellows regional engagement committee, and for eleven years coached in the Aspen Junior Hockey girl’s recreational and AA national bound programs. He enjoys skiing, golf, fly-fishing, ice hockey, and spending time with family.
