Private Advisor, Senior Vice President

Craig Janus is a Senior Vice President and Private Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. Craig works with clients to help them achieve their objectives through focusing on insurance, investment, income tax planning and preparation, retirement planning and employee benefits, and estate planning. He uses his analytical and technical skills to develop creative ideas and solutions to solve complicated problems for clients. Craig enjoys watching his clients’ situations transform as they make their way through the financial planning process.

Prior to Rockefeller, Craig was a Vice President at Whitnell as well as a member of the Whitnell Investment Committee. In this capacity, he helped establish the liquid alternatives investment platform for Whitnell and continues to work with the Investment Committee in the ongoing oversight of these investments.

Prior to joining Whitnell, Craig worked for the Boeing Company where his level of security clearance allowed him to work on government contracts on the control systems of the F-15 and F-18 fighter jets.

Craig graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and received his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He also has a Master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Craig is the chair of the investment committee of the Theta Xi foundation, a national educational 501(c)3 charitable organization.
