Daniel Selcow

Private Advisor, Managing Director

Daniel Selcow is a Managing Director and Private Advisor at Rockefeller Global Family Office, working with ultra-high net worth families, individuals, business executives, entrepreneurs, private foundations and non-profits. He takes a holistic and high touch approach, working closely and collaboratively with his clients and their advisors with a goal of growing, preserving and transferring wealth from generation to generation.  Daniel acts as the quarterback and primary point of contact for each client relationship.  He directly handles or partners with Rockefeller Global Family Office colleagues to deliver to his clients the full suite of wealth management and family office services and solutions from investments to trusts to private banking to estate planning to lending to philanthropy to next generation financial education.  Prior to Rockefeller, Daniel spent more than eight years as a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Private Wealth Management.  

Prior to First Republic, Daniel spent nine years as a Private Client Advisor, Portfolio Manager and Relationship Manager in Wilmington Trusts Wealth Management Group. Prior to Wilmington Trust, Daniel was a Portfolio Manager and Relationship Manager with the Trust Company of Connecticut and prior to that, was the director of financial services for Diversified Advisory Services, a boutique multi-family office. He was a Portfolio Manager at Nomura Asset Management, responsible for investing in emerging markets on behalf of institutional clients. Daniel started his career as an analyst covering emerging markets for Merrill Lynch. 

Daniel serves on the Investment Advisory Committee for the LearningSpring School, a private school in New York City for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 

He received his Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird, the School of Global Management and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology from Connecticut College.
