David’s decades-long career as a financial advisor spans both bull and bear markets and has provided David with a seasoned perspective on ever changing markets. Prior to joining Rockefeller, David came from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. His mission is to help clients create a disciplined strategy for achieving their most important financial and life goals. David is dedicated to delivering hands-on attention and working to create a plan that brings clarity to clients, so they understand where they stand in relation to their goals in a measurable way, irrespective of market conditions. David’s greatest reward comes from the trusted and long-lasting relationships he has built with clients over the course of his career.

As the leader of Ruben Wealth Partners, David emphasizes team commitment to client service, integrity, and diligence in always doing right by the client and continuing professional education. David is a Portfolio Manager who can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis his own Personalized or Defined Strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, and third-party investment strategies. *David has also been named to Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

David is a graduate of American University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and attended the Securities Industries Institute at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce. In his community, David serves as Trustee at Suburban Hospital / Johns Hopkins Medicine and the past Chairman of the Foundation board of Suburban Hospital / Johns Hopkins Medicine. He has also dedicated over 30 years of service at the Charles E. Smith Life Communities including serving in the past as a member of the Board of Governors and the Chairman of the Trustees of the Charles E. Smith Life Communities. He also served as past president of the Capital Chapter of the American Israeli Red Cross.
