Donnie joined the Hambleton Fieler Wealth Partners in January 2024 to support the team’s investment management process. Donnie is a 2018 graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s Kolodzik Business Scholars program within the Lindner College of Business. During his time at Lindner, Donnie began his career in investment management by completing five cooperative education (co-op) experiences across four different companies – Johnson Investment Counsel, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Journeyman LLC, and Fund Evaluation Group. Following graduation, Donnie moved to Austin, Texas to join Dimensional Fund Advisors’ Investments Rotational Program, where he rotated through the Investment Analytics and Data group and the Portfolio Management group before settling into a role supporting the U.S. Large Cap portfolio management team. At Dimensional, Donnie developed extensive technical and computer science skills related to managing and optimizing the investment process. Here he also built his philosophy on markets and investing that echoes Dimensional’s Nobel Prize-winning academic and scientific approach to trusting the efficiency of the market and allowing decades of data-driven research guide investment decisions rather than attempting to out-guess the market. In 2021, Donnie joined a Morgan Stanley wealth management group back in his hometown of Cincinnati. Here he supported the team’s investment process in all ways, including bottom-up investment research, macroeconomic analysis, client asset allocation, trading (both public equities and derivatives), and performance analysis and commentary. Donnie achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter in 2021 and is an active member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati.

Donnie lives in Over-the-Rhine and loves exploring all that the city has to offer. He can be found at every Cincinnati Bearcats home football and basketball games and is a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan, even hosting a podcast called Reds Country Radio. He spends most of his remaining free time exercising, traveling, enjoying the latest fantasy novel, or developing his newest hobby – learning to DJ.
