Douglas R. Linker, CIMA®

Doug joined Rockefeller Capital Management in 2020 and is a founding partner of the group. Prior to Rockefeller he spent over 20 years at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He also ran the New York floor operations and was the head trader on the floor for Oppenheimer’s Commodity Division. He has decades of experience guiding clients in designing wealth management strategies to help navigate them through the next phases in their financial lives. These include strategies for estate planning services and retirement income, as well as income management and investing. He builds long-term relationships based on understanding and trust. Doug brings a distinct analytical intuition to the wealth management strategies he designs, educating clients on the potential and risks of numerous investment strategies and life choices.

Doug graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Business Administration and went on to earn an MBA degree in finance at Columbia University. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation, awarded by the Investments & Wealth Institute™.

Outside of the office, Doug is an avid golf and tennis player and also enjoys hiking, walking, cycling, gardening and anything outdoors. Doug is a long time resident of Ridgewood, New Jersey and now also spends time in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He is married to his wife of 34 years and his three kids live across America, sometimes globally, and thankfully they are all thriving.
