Eric B. Hermanson, CFP®

Private Advisor, Managing Director

Eric Hermanson is a Managing Director and Private Advisor at Hermanson Embleton Wealth Partners of Rockefeller Capital Management. A third-generation financial advisor in his second decade in the industry, Eric built his practice by serving C-suite executives of Fortune 500 companies and successful middle-market entrepreneurs who have experienced significant liquidity events.

Before joining Rockefeller in February 2020, Eric and his team were at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where he had been named to the firm’s President’s Club and earned the Family Wealth Director designation given his expertise in helping ultra-high-net-worth families through the complex, multigenerational challenges of managing significant wealth.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Hermanson Embleton Wealth Partner’s senior member, and its Portfolio Management Director, Eric’s comprehensive wealth planning process helps clients crystalize their goals, see their complete financial picture, and establish and execute strategies to obtain those goals, always monitoring and adjusting as warranted.

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, where he studied Economics and Journalism.

He is active in the community through Vistage International, Business Executives for National Security (BENS), and the Atlanta Charity Clays. Eric enjoys fishing, skiing, sporting clay shooting, and, most importantly, spending time at the beach with his family. He, his wife Shannon, and their two children, Kendall and Brendon, live in Sandy Springs.
