Gerald Dahlander

Private Advisor, Managing Director

Gerry proudly continues the tradition that his father, Ward M. Dahlander, the founder of our financial services practice started over 50 years ago, dedicated to being a trusted advisor and helping families manage and preserve their wealth.

Today, starting with a personal approach and providing planning, perspective, and service, we strive to bring passion, integrity, and empathy to all client relationships. Offering perspective on what clients may achieve with their wealth, optimizing lifestyle expectations, sustaining retirement goals, preserving purchasing power and leaving a family legacy is the ultimate goal of our process.

Upon graduation from Baylor University with a finance degree, Gerry worked for a national defense contractor on the F-16 project and then for a national commercial real estate developer specializing in industrial leasing and property sales.  Armed with that experience and a broad overview of many industries, Gerry developed a keen understanding of the responsibilities that corporate executives, entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals experience every day.  Before joining the Rockefeller Global Family Office, Gerry worked for over 25 years at Merrill Wealth Management as a financial advisor.

Highly engaged in his community to serve others, Gerry has been elected to the vestry of his Episcopal Church where he served as Senior Warden, and as a trustee for the Episcopal Corporation for the Diocese of Dallas. He has served on the advisory board of the Town North YMCA and as a scoutmaster of his former Boy Scout troop.  He currently is on the advisory board of The Dallas Foundation and serves as a trustee of a foundation that supports his church, Gerry resides in Dallas with his wife, Mary Jane. Together, they raised three wonderful adult daughters. He enjoys reading, golf and playing the trumpet.
