John joined Rockefeller Capital Management in 2021. He has over 25 years of experience developing tailored investment guidance and financial education to business owners, family offices, executives and multigenerational families. Since a young age he has taken an interest in the ever-changing world of finance and the markets. He began his career during a recession and in turn came to understand the value of long-term strategic planning and developing tenured relationships with clients.
John’s team is composed of accomplished professionals who are accountable, driven, and knowledgeable. The team is committed to providing excellence in all that they do. He focuses on the differentiated needs of business executives and entrepreneurs throughout their entire business life cycle.
John began his career in 1991 at Eastman Kodak Company. He went on to join Citigroup Smith Barney in 1993 as a Financial Advisor and Vice President. In 2000, he became a Senior Vice President of McDonald Investments and founded Atlanta Wealth Management, a full-service wealth and asset management practice. When Atlanta Wealth Management was acquired in 2005, he joined UBS Private Wealth Management.
John earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from Bowling Green University. He then went on to attend Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program.
In his free time, John enjoys traveling with his wife and two children. He is also an avid skier, surfer and mountain biker.
