Ken is a Private Advisor and Managing Director at Rockefeller Capital Management. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Ken worked at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management where he started in 1999. He brings high-net-worth clients thoughtful wealth management strategies that are in line with their short- and long-term goals and reflect Ken’s experiences in financial services and business. Ken’s areas of focus include customized retirement planning, as well as the development of tax- and risk-minimizations, and estate planning strategies in coordination with clients’ legal and tax advisors.

Ken holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He is also a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.

Before joining Merrill, Ken served as the President of Advanced Technology Systems International, a technology firm in Northern Virginia. Ken holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters degree in International Business Transactions from George Mason University. Ken lives in McLean with his wife and their two children (who Ken coached for years in basketball and soccer). He also enjoys playing golf and tennis.
