Marshall Duane

Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor

Marshall is a Managing Director, Private Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. He is a long tenured Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, helps clients pursue their objectives by building and managing customized and personalized strategies which may incorporate individual stocks, bonds, model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2021, Marshall was a Senior Vice president, Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for 40 years. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1980 with Merrill in Delray Beach, Florida.

Marshall graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Engineering. He holds an MBA from Tulane as well.  A native Floridian, he is a graduate of Saint Andrews School in Boca Raton, where he was inducted into its inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class, in 2002, for football and sailing. A world class athlete, Marshall was a member of the 1980 United States Olympic Team, representing the Flying Dutchman Class on the US Yachting Team. He won many championship regattas in the Flying Dutchman, Laser, Star and Etchells classes. He is also an avid golfer. Marshall is active in his community, notably having served as Chairman of the Bethesda Hospital Foundation when the hospital commenced its successful $100 million Capital Campaign. He served as a Council Member and Vice Mayor of his town for 12 years. Marshall and his wife, Susan, are the parents of three children and six grandchildren.
