Mike is a proud alumna of Elder High School and Brown University, graduating from the later in 1992 with a degree in Business Economics. Returning to his hometown of Cincinnati to embark on a career in Finance, Mike spent a year with Norwest Financial in a bank training program. In 1993, Mike was fortunate to connect with Ross Hambleton Sr. Ross was a sole practitioner with Shearson Lehman and his practice had been experiencing strong growth as his focus shifted to financial planning for retirees, predominately from Procter & Gamble. Shortly after Mike joined the practice in May of 1993, Procter & Gamble announced a global effort (SGE) to streamline work processes and reduce nonvalue-added expenses. As a consequence, many Procter & Gamble employees accepted early retirement packages leading to more growth for the practice. By 1999, Mike attained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation achieving his goal to broaden his financial knowledge and portfolio management experience. In 2020, along with his current business partners, Mike moved their wealth management practice to Rockefeller Capital Management after spending the previous 14 years at Merrill Lynch. Today, Mike continues to help the team with its asset allocation construction and investment models. However, his primary concentration is to provide clients with holistic advice by developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial plan that addresses their unique financial goals.

Mike is married and his wife Gina is a RN working at the Northern Kentucky University. They have a son and two daughters. Mike stays engaged in his community by serving on the board of the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati and as a committee member of the Elder High School Classic Outing.
