Mike joined Rockefeller in 2021 and has over 25 years of industry experience. As a highly-credentialed and recognized financial services veteran, he offers advanced expertise in the life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution. He develops specific strategies to help minimize taxes, monetize and preserve assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. Mike has a holistic planning-based approach when working with clients and strongly believes in the importance of a comprehensive and coordinated strategy. He prefers to engage with his clients’ tax advisors and estate planning attorneys to ensure a cohesive plan. You will find Mike to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and responsive.

Committed to continued professional education, Mike earned his Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification through the Investments & Wealth Institute™ in December 2017, completing his coursework at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

In addition to being recognized as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in 2004, Mike earned his Certified Portfolio Manager® designation through the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers in 2013, completing his coursework at Columbia University’s Industrial Engineering & Operations Research Department. Mike graduated Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford with a B.S. in Finance and concentration in Macroeconomics.

Away from the office, Mike treasures his time with his wife, Marlene, and son. He is a marathon runner, avid cyclist, and golfer. He volunteers as a baseball coach for St. Ursula Villa. He is also a frequent participant and top fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s annual cycling event as well as Ride Cincinnati, which raises money for breast cancer research at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute. Mike has also competed in several duathlons which raise funds for Crohn’s, Colitis, and Muscular Dystrophy.
