Sam Wilson is a Senior Vice President and Investment Advisor, delivering the expertise and resources of Rockefeller’s Family Office platform. Prior to joining Rockefeller, he served as a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Strategist for Northern Trust, advising affluent individuals and families with investment management, cash flow modeling, estate planning, family education, and other wealth management needs. Prior to Northern Trust, he was an Investment Advisor at Wilmington Trust and a Floor Broker for Kellogg Capital Group on the American Stock Exchange.
Sam is a CFA charterholder, and he holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College. He and his family are Greenwich residents and involved with several community organizations. He serves as treasurer for the Junior Council of REACH Prep, a nonprofit helping promising students from underserved communities. When Sam and his wife aren’t looking after their two young boys, they also contribute time and resources to the Bruce Museum, Boys and Girls Club, Greenwich United Way, and Kids in Crisis. Sam enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, tennis, and the occasional round of golf.
