Sharath Shetty

Sharath Shetty is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Advisory, responsible for leading the Strategic Advisory execution activities of Rockefeller Capital Management.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in March 2018, Mr. Shetty served as an investment banker at UBS, where he led strategic advisory assignments including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets transactions for clients in the financial services sector. Previously, Mr. Shetty spent 8 years combined at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Financial Institutions Investment Banking group. Prior to investment banking, Mr. Shetty worked in consulting and operational roles in the financial services industry.

Mr. Shetty earned an M.B.A. in Finance (with Honors) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
