Family Office Philanthropy: Deciding between a DAF and a private foundation

With a historic $124 trillion wealth transfer underway, many high-net-worth families are rethinking how they give, and why. Private foundations have long been a favored vehicle for families seeking to build philanthropic legacies, but Donor Advised Funds, or DAFs, are also gaining traction for their simplicity, flexibility, and tax advantages.
