New York, August 1, 2023

Rockefeller Asset Management (“Rockefeller”), the asset management arm of Rockefeller Capital Management, today announced the expansion of its small cap product line up with the launch of its actively managed Rockefeller U.S. Small Cap Core Fund (RKSIX/RKSAX). The Fund seeks to invest in quality domestic small cap companies with durable business models and enduring growth.

The Fund is managed by an experienced portfolio management team including, Jason Kotik CFA, Lead Portfolio Manager for U.S. Small and Smid Cap, and Tim Skiendzielewski, CFA, Associate Portfolio Manager. Kotik and Skiendzielewski bring more than 40 years of combined experience in small cap investing and, prior to joining Rockefeller Asset Management, worked together for more than a decade managing several U.S. small cap strategies at abrdn.

“Rockefeller Asset Management has a 34-year history managing small cap strategies with compelling returns,” said Casey Clark, President and Chief Investment Officer. “We continue to build on this legacy by making the Rockefeller U.S. Small Cap Core Fund – with these distinguished professionals and all of our distinct intellectual capital – available to an expanded audience.”

“We believe now is an exciting time to be a small cap investor,” said Kotik. “In our view, the market environment has shifted, creating significant opportunities for active managers to generate strong long-term returns for clients.”

Clark added the firm is focusing on investment solutions involving targeted markets where active management can add value. “We understand the need for broad vehicle availability, and our goal is to provide investors with strategy and vehicle alignment that suits their needs.”

The Rockefeller US Small Cap Core Fund is available in institutional (RKSIX) and retail (RKSAX) share classes.
